|Graduating in Mechanical Engineering from UBC in 1976, Chris started his engineering career with Innovative Ventures designing mechanical equipment, and installing remote weather and ice motion monitoring equipment for the resource industry in the high arctic. Mr. Blundell left IVL to start Canterra Engineering in 1978. Canterra developed a number of unique drilling rigs for mineral exploration, seismic, and water well drilling; including Helicopter and people-portable seismic drill rigs, which saw service in 20+ countries (resulting in a Canadian Export Award). Canterra was sold to Foremost Industries, where Mr. Blundell was VP Production. Mr. Blundell left Foremost and assumed leadership of Griffin Legrand, a PC pump and pump jack manufacturer that was later sold to Weatherford. After departing Weatherford, Chris led a number of small OFS manufacturing operations before starting Compact Compression.
With an initial concept to provide No Hassle Compression to the oil and gas industry through innovative design and manufacturing of reliable and economical low hp compressors; Chris has exceeded his vision with the production of over 1000 compressors in the field today.

|Having joined the company in January 2011, Doug embraces his role as Design Engineer and is the architect behind the Hydraulic Casing Gas Compressor. With his B.Eng. Aerospace (Honors) from Carleton University, Mr. Haines possesses the knowledge and diversity to lead the team in New Product Development. With an intrinsic ability to integrate both mechanical and electrical systems – clean sheet to prototype, including programming, Doug holds an essential position in the continued success of Compact Compression.|
|Starting his career out as a Heavy Duty Mechanic with CP Rail, Art serviced locomotives and diesel engines for nearly six years. Looking to propel his career forward, Art joined Enerflex as a HD Mechanic in 1991. While there, he excelled at being active in every stage of the gas compressor manufacturing - from instrumentation, pipefitting, assembly, driveline, and welding. This earned him promotions to various management positions. Art also played a significant role in facilitating the SAIT Apprenticeship Training program during his time at Enerflex. During the summer of 2003, he started with Compact as Production Manager. Overseeing the production and service of more than four product lines and 1000 compressors for the past 15 years, Art maintains an instrumental piece in moving the company forward.|
